Sri Lanka Surf Tours are the pioneers of surf tours in Sri Lanka, established way back in the early 80’s. Founded by Kithsiri Panditha (most surfers call him “Siri”), who has over 25 years of surfing experience, his services are very popular amongst Japanese, Australian, and other international surfers who have visited Hikkaduwa since the early 80’s.
He is also a government-approved tour guide. Based in Hikkaduwa — the well-known surf destination on Sri Lanka’s West Coast — Kithsiri offers quality training for individuals and groups, specialized surf accommodation at his own Surf Villa, as well as organized tours to the major (and not so well known) surf points of the West, South, and East Coasts. But this is not all. The integrated surf shop offers board hire and sales, as well as surf wear and all the bits and pieces you’ll need to tackle some of the finest waves of the Indian Ocean.
BEGINNER SURFER
Our surf camp in Weligama is perfectly positioned for new surfers. Just steps from our camp, you’ll find gentle, rolling waves that are ideal for catching your first unbroken wave and mastering the fundamentals of surfing. For complete beginners, we highly recommend our 5-day surf coaching program, which includes expert instruction, board rental, and all the support you need to confidently ride your first waves in Sri Lanka.
INTERMEDIATE SURFER
For intermediate surfers, Sri Lanka offers a mix of beach breaks and reef breaks to challenge your skills. With consistent waves nearby, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to progress, refine your technique, and hopefully leave as a more advanced surfer.
ADVANCE SURFER
Advanced surfers will find incredible value on a Sri Lanka surf trip. We’ll guide you on tides, swell direction, and hidden spots to maximize your sessions. The camp attracts surfers of all levels, so you’ll meet other skilled riders, and our local guides will share insider knowledge on the best advanced breaks.

Depending on the season, we organize surf tours along the West Coast, South Coast, or East Coast — especially the world-famous Arugam Bay.
Tours can be arranged individually or for groups. All tours are conducted in air-conditioned vans with specially trained drivers and surf guides.

Cleanest room at Sri Lanka, very quite and well situated -
Just returned from 30days travelling in Sri Lanka. We have been for 5 days at Surf Villa. We have reserved only for two nights but extended 3 days more.
You will find Surf Villa taking the road in front of Blue Note hotel, just after de train tracks on your right.
Very big rooms, the cleanest we have found at Sri Lanka. Completed bathroom with plenty hot water. Very good wifi signal.
Its only 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes from the main road with all the restaurants and shops but you cannot hear traffic noise. Its a very quite gesthouse.
Nice breakfast every day and very helpful staff. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I was staying nearby and came to see the sushi bar at this villa with my friends. Everything was so fresh and tasty, very good sushi! Very calm place at the little garden with the relaxing atmosphere.

It was quiet and the room was clean. We have a nice breakfast every day! egg and bread, Sri Lankan breakfast and so on.
I ate " Harapa".
It was nice!
Owner's Siri, he can speak Japanese very well, so we cloud ask about surfing.

Awesome location!!! probably the best place to stay in Hikkaduwa.
Siri is a great guy, organizing everything you need (surf trips, dinner, etc.). all people are so friendly. He is a good cook as well. if you are lucky he is doing sushi:)

Very beautiful, clean, and quite place. Everything is around ( restaurants, super market , party places ) and just 3 minutes walk to the beach and main surf spot. We enjoyed the staying and highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night on our way south and were very happy with the accommodation. The room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was very spacious. The staff were really helpful showing me the surf breaks and the best time to surf. The sushi restaurant is great with a Japanese chef who clearly knows his stuff. Only small complaint is that our room (on the garden level) felt a little crammed and if we were staying longer, space would have been an issue.

I really liked this place. Very quiet and serene. Gorgeous garden with orchids and other exotic plants and flowers. The villa itself is clean and in perfect order. Owners are very considerate and help with everything you ask. In evenings they cook sushi and spaghetti, so no need to go out if you do not want to. Rooms are cleaned and breakfast is served by a lovely little old lady, who seem unreplaceable part of the villa. Wi-fi signal is good as opposed to other hotels. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Looking for a clean, nice, surrounded by green home stay? Look no further, turn left off the Galle road ( just when you pass blue note cafe) into the peace and quiet lane, and you'll find the Surf Villa on the left. Pleasant, clean rooms with good beds and bathroom. The place is run by a local surfer and his wife who have traveled the world and know what tourists,who are looking for value for money, want. Service with a smile and some local talk accompanies the breakfast in the garden.

I strongly recommend this hotel.
Because clean!!!!!! I surprised!
And owener and his family was very kindly.
I ordered him to want to eat garlic shrimp, he took me to the marcket, and he prepareed yammy dishes.I was impressed.
Owner can speak Japanese. This point also made me happy.
Important thing I say twice.

From Surfer To Surfer -
Igot know this place from my friend & stayed during my entire holiday in this Nice Gust House type Hotel. This is not far from the Beach ( would say 3-5 mins Walk) & very close to the Hikkaduwa Surf Point.. Owner is a Local surfer who run this place ( Kithsiri or Siri) & I would say I felt like member of their family...Very warm and relaxed atmosphere, clean rooms, beautiful garden & especially very open-hearted people, who run the Surf Villa, I will never forget the taste of Rice & curry, BBQ Fish they made for me.. Thank you Surf Villa............. Aloha...

Hospitality and Service from Siri & Team is very nice and the Surf Villa looks even better then on the pictures. Very nice surroundings and just a short walk down to the Main Reef and beach. Better stay here then in one of the beachfront places. Best place in Hikkaduwa!!
